well, took its sweet time, but finally got over 1000 page views, if only just barely... but I'll admit to my place being pretty lame as compared to the 100 or so that I am currently watching. But, still :boogie:

Reworking

Journal Entry: Thu Mar 6, 2008, 6:00 PM
Well, I've got the hang of weaving smaller loops into dream catchers, which, admittedly, makes them look nicer, so I've started reweaving all the ones I still have and am going to work on a couple more new ones.

Though I'm still working it out, I'm thinking of selling the ones I have as well as taking on commisions to create new ones with the materials I have. Admittedly, the selection's going to be limited due to I have to sell out of what I have left before I can by more per decree from the money handler.

If you see one that you like let me know through a note or you can email me at galenwolfe@yahoo.com. I do have paypal, so it can be filtered through there, and as for shipping, well, I'm going to have to work that part out. :)

Anyway, thanks for bearing with me.

The Storm

Journal Entry: Wed Feb 20, 2008, 8:23 AM
I step out into a world of serene warmth and pleasure. The sun is still midway between the horizon and the midpoint of the day, glowing brightly and filling the world with vibraint hues.

But, on that distant horizon is a grey hint of something else to come. It does not take long before the grey sentinels march slowly across the sky, blotting out the remainder fo the sun. Tall they are, with the distant rumble that always accompanies a particularly angry march.

Gone are the bright hued colors of the sunlight, replaced by the stark greys that are newly filtered through those thick clouds. A jagged spear of light temporarily enlightens the area, but still will not provide the vibrancy needed to revive the colors that had once been, not too long ago. Then comes the tears, either floating white dustings, or hard, cold angry peltings. Or maybe simply the heavy wet normal tears of sorrow.

Why would the grey sentinels weep, I would ask myself. And then I look around, at this grey world they created in their chasing of the daylight. Of course, they must ever be in a world of grey, unable to watch the frolicking of the children, unable to enjoy those afore mentioned vibrant hues.

Only once they leave will the world return to the colors that it had been created in, while they continue to chase the daylight, hoping against hope that they will, one day, be able to enjoy the light of the below, instead of on their backs...

:iconkissmypixels: broke this story about monday I think: [link]

The family really does need whatever prayers and help you might be able to send, and the Lady Brandi is trying to gather donations for giving to the family. I know, alot of you don't know me, and I don't know Brandi that well, but I did do a little research on my own through newspapers and such, so it's legit as far as i can tell.

If you can give anything, I'm sure it would be appreciated, and if not, prayers or best wishes or how ever you send good will to another would still be helpful.

On to other frontiers

Journal Entry: Mon Jan 21, 2008, 8:56 PM
You'll likely notice that I tend to hop around alot in my works. Some call it ADD other call it not being focused. I call it being a jack of all trades. Why stick to one thing when you can have more fun knowing lots of things? True, I won't become a grand master artist or a novel writer or even as good at the things that I do as the people who do the same thing, but focus only on that. I've made my peace with that fact.

as for my first writing attempt. This is only one of a great many things that I've written, but it's also the one that I've gotten the least bit of notice on, so I figure this being an open forum, I'll chuck it out here and see how it shreds. I've only posted the first three parts, roughly 80 pages of 167. be honest, I need to know what I should do to make it better.
